Refund Policy

Merchant of Record: All purchases on MaxiGyms are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"), our authorised Merchant of Record. Paddle is the legal seller and handles payment processing, tax, and buyer protection. This refund policy operates in accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms. Your bank statement will show a charge from Paddle, not MaxiGyms.

1. Our Commitment

MaxiGyms is committed to fair and transparent billing. We offer a 14-day refund window from the date of purchase, subject to the usage conditions below. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of the transaction date to be eligible.

2. Refund Eligibility

Full Refund

You are eligible for a full refund if:

  • You have not scanned a QR code (no gym visits made), and
  • Your request is submitted within 14 days of the purchase date.

Prorated Refund

You are eligible for a prorated refund (remaining unused days) if:

  • You have used fewer than 3 QR scans (fewer than 3 gym visits), and
  • Your request is submitted within 14 days of the purchase date.

Prorated amount = (Remaining days ÷ Total plan days) × Plan price, minus any days already used at their per-day value.

No Refund

No refund is issued if:

  • More than 14 days have passed since your purchase date, or
  • You have used 3 or more QR scans (the service has been substantially used), or
  • The account was suspended due to a violation of our Terms of Service.

3. Specific Eligible Scenarios

Regardless of the above, the following will always result in a full refund:

  • Duplicate charge: Your payment method was charged more than once for the same plan.
  • Failed activation: Payment was collected but the plan was never activated and no gym access was granted.
  • Extended platform outage: A verified MaxiGyms system outage prevented you from using the service for 48 or more consecutive hours during your active plan.
  • Unauthorised transaction: You did not authorise the charge and reported it promptly within 14 days.

4. Non-Refundable Items

  • Additional freeze days purchased in-app (3 AED each) are non-refundable once applied.
  • The MaxFitAI redemption code included with Plan 3 is non-refundable once redeemed on MaxFitAI.com.
  • If your MaxFitAI code expired before use (30-day validity), contact us and we will review individually.

5. Cancellation

MaxiGyms plans are non-recurring — there is no automatic renewal or standing subscription. Each plan is a one-time purchase. When your day count reaches zero, no further charge is made. There is nothing to cancel mid-cycle. The Freeze feature (Plans 2 and 3) is available to pause your day count if you are unable to attend the gym.

6. How to Request a Refund

Email us at info@maxigyms.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:

  • Your full name and registered email address
  • The plan purchased and date of purchase
  • Your Paddle order number (shown on your payment receipt)
  • Reason for the refund request

We aim to respond to all refund requests within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed by Paddle and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment method and bank.

7. Paddle Buyer Protection

Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all MaxiGyms transactions, you are also protected by Paddle's Buyer Terms and Conditions. Under Paddle's terms, buyers may request a refund within 14 days of a one-off transaction. If you have a billing issue that MaxiGyms cannot resolve, you may contact Paddle buyer support directly.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us at info@maxigyms.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Most issues can be resolved quickly. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in account suspension pending investigation.

9. Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with how your refund request was handled, escalate your complaint to info@maxigyms.com marked "Formal Complaint". We will acknowledge within 2 business days and aim to resolve within 10 business days. If unresolved, you may contact Paddle buyer support or the relevant consumer authority in your jurisdiction.
